Eyedea develops technologies for object recognition in images based on machine learning and artificial intelligence. Its models can accurately recognize the make, model, generation, and color of vehicles and are used in traffic systems, vehicle monitoring, and traffic analysis.
The company was founded in 2006 as a spin-off from the Center for Machine Perception at CTU. Its first product was automatic number plate recognition (ANPR). Today, its main expertise is advanced recognition of the make, model, generation, and color of vehicles (Make and Model Recognition, MMR).
Thanks to long-term cooperation with CTU research teams, Eyedea continuously uses the latest machine learning findings in developing its own solutions for traffic analysis and vehicle monitoring, thus consistently bridging cutting-edge academic research and industrial applications.
Today, Eyedea’s solutions are used by more than 300 customers in 41 countries across five continents. They are applied in transport systems, vehicle monitoring, traffic analysis, and other applications based on object recognition in images.
